Request CHG-207 · Finance client update

Northstar Finance needs LedgerDesk upgraded from 4.2 to 4.3 on FIN-01 through FIN-06 to resolve an invoice-export defect. The shared database server and other departments are outside this request. All six users finish work at 18:00 on Friday.

Operations offers a maintenance window of Friday, October 23, 2026, 18:00–19:30. Finance must be operational by 19:30. Reverting and validating the six clients takes 30 minutes. Avery Patel is the implementing technician; Morgan Lee, the Finance service owner, is the authorized approver. Morgan has requested a written plan but has not authorized the change.

The package is vendor-signed. A test workstation and the 4.2 installer are available. Client settings can be exported; restore testing has not yet occurred. Users will be unable to work during installation. A release is acceptable only when the correct version launches, staff can open their existing records, and an invoice export passes. Prepare the record for approval; do not represent planned work as completed.
